DEBBY LARKIN is one of Boston’s Premier Jazz Vocalists.  She graduated, with honors, from Berklee College of Music.  She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Performance and appears with some of the area’s finest musicians.  She is considered a member of the band, a musician, a master at her craft!

 

Debby regularly entertains audiences in Boston, Newport, and many areas in New England and also her home-town, Pittsburgh, PA.  She has performed internationally and has entertained audiences regularly in Italy.  Also, she has performed in St Maarten, Barbados, Scotland and Spain to name a few.  Her humor and charm ingratiate audiences wherever she performs.

 

She swings in the style of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O’Day and has the subtle coolness of Julie London and Peggy Lee. She considers all of these great singers to be among her strongest influences.  Debby has a great respect for the composers of the Great American Songbook and has a “Natural” feeling for the Blues Genre’ including the styles of Dinah Washington, Bessie Smith, Jimmy Rushing, B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt.
